IND vs ENG: Rishabh Pant tries his hands on drone camera
After proving himself with the bat and the wicketkeeping gloves, India star Rishabh Pant, on Monday, tried his hands on a drone camera. Pant got a taste of flying the drone camera after the practice session ahead of the third Test against England at Ahmedabad’s Motera stadium. The penultimate match of the ongoing series is scheduled to get underway on Wednesday (February 24).
The four-match series is currently locked at 1-1 after both the teams won one Test each in Chennai. England drew first blood by winning the first Test by 227 runs before India won the second Test by 317 runs to draw level. Both the teams will have a chance to take an unassailable lead in the series in the upcoming game.
The remaining two games are very important for both teams as they will decide their fate in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship. A series win for India will be enough to make it to the final and lock horns against New Zealand. England, on the other hand, need to win both the remaining Tests to progress.
Rishabh Pant’s fun session with a drone camera
As India and England gear up for the crucial game, Rishabh Pant decided to have some fun in the training session. The mood in the Indian camp is high at the moment after their thumping win in the second Test. The youngster managed to get his hands on the controller of a drone camera and made the most of it.
The BCCI posted the recordings on their official Twitter handle with the caption: “Pulls off brilliant catches & stumpings Hits big sixes with ease @RishabhPant17 now has some fun with the drone camera.”
At the start of the video, the drone was seen hovering over the head of coach Ravi Shastri. It was followed by a hilarious moment when batting star Cheteshwar Pujara tried to take down the device with his bat. Ravichandran Ashwin was also seen trying to grab the drone with his hands. And the best moment of the video came around the 13-second mark when Pant caught his skipper Virat Kohli off-guard. Kohli was hilariously scared by the gadget for a second before realizing what was going on.
