IND vs ENG: 4th Test – Records and milestones from the series-winning triumph
India have won the four-match Test series against England by 3-1 to complete another stunning comeback after losing the opening game of the contest. The Virat Kohli-led side comprehensively won the next three Tests ending the series on a thumping note with an innings victory. Axar Patel and Ravi Ashwin were the architects of a quick win on the third day as they equally shared the spoils skittling England for just 135 runs.
Earlier on the third day, Washington Sundar was left stranded on 96 as India were bundled out for 365 runs with a lead of 160 in the first innings. Axar Patel scored 43 runs before getting run-out while Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma couldn’t add a single run to the total.
