‘I will cherish it forever’ – Chetan Sakariya after clicking a picture with MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni is one of the biggest names in the game of cricket. He is a cricketer who has admirers across the cricketing world. And, not just the fans, even the players themselves are excited when they get a chance to meet the legendary Indian cricketer.
Rajasthan Royals’ (RR) new recruit Chetan Sakariya experienced one such moment during the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). After the encounter between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) on 19th April 2021, Sakariya got the chance to click a picture with Dhoni.
Sakariya has posted the picture with Dhoni on Instagram and has also stated in the caption that he has admired Dhoni ever since he was a child. Stating that it is the best moment of his life, Sakariya added that he will cherish the moment he spent with Dhoni forever.

Chennai Super Kings beat Rajasthan Royals by 45 runs
The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side thrashed the Rajasthan Royals (RR) outfit by 45 runs on 19th April 2021. Riding on crucial knocks from Faf du Plessis and Moeen Ali, the CSK side posted a total of 188/9 on the board. Chetan Sakariya was the star performer for the ‘Men in Pink’ with the ball and scalped 3 wickets in the 4 overs that he bowled.
In reply, the Sanju Samson-led side could only manage to score a total of 143/9 in 20 overs. In fact, apart from Jos Buttler, who scored a raging 49 at the top of the order, none of the other Rajasthan willow wielders contributed significantly.
The CSK bowlers produced a collective effort with the ball too. While Moeen Ali scalped 3 wickets, the likes of Sam Curran and Ravindra Jadeja scalped 2 wickets each to allow the MS Dhoni-led side to post its 2nd win of the 14th edition of the IPL.
