Hardik Pandya takes on brother Krunal in a gym face-off
The India squad led by Shikhar Dhawan is ready to take on Sri Lanka in the limited-overs series, which is set to begin on July 18. The series got postponed due to rising COVID-19 cases in the Lankan camp. With the Indian players getting five days extra time, the 20-member squad, as well as support staff, are sweating it out to keep themselves fit, before the white-ball series starts.
Brothers Hardik and Krunal Pandya are currently in Sri Lanka and will look to make the most of the opportunity by performing well in the limited-overs series and thereby stake a claim in the Indian team during the ICC T20 World Cup 2021.
There always seems to be a healthy rivalry between both siblings, while playing on the field or working out together in the gym. The banter too is there, making the competition between the brothers even more fun and interesting. Krunal and Hardik got into one such gym challenge, which required them to work out and then determine who the winner is among the three sets. The face-off between the brothers started with ‘wall squat hold’, which was won by the elder brother Krunal.
However, Hardik was determined to not give up and bounced back in style to win the second challenge – ‘Glute Bridge’. With the scores level, the brothers started to battle it out in the third and final round performing ‘split squat hold’. There was no clear winner between the two as the challenge ended in a tie with each winning one. The BCCI also shared a video on Twitter.
This may look easy, but it’s NOT! ❌
