GT vs RR: IPL 2022 Final Review
Gujarat Titans have managed to win the IPL 2022 title after defeating the Rajasthan Royals in the finals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Chasing a relatively low total, Gujarat Titans did lose two early wickets, however it just needed one good partnership between Hardik and Gill to take the game out of RR’s hands and Miller played his role perfectly with a 19-ball 32. In the end, GT comfortably won the game with 11 balls to spare and 7 wickets in hand.
Earlier in the game, the Rajasthan Royals were off to a good start with Jaiswal going after the bowling, and were setting up a good platform at 60 for 1 in the 9th over. However, The RR side lost some important wickets in the middle overs and could end up with just 130 in their 20 overs which wasn’t enough in the end.

Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya has been the in-form batter for the Gujarat Titans this season, but he stepped up with the ball this time and finished with a three-wicket haul in the all-important game. He was quite economical as well and conceded just 17 runs while adding 34 runs off just 30 balls as well with the bat. He looked the standout performer in the game without a doubt.
Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill anchored the run chase quite well for the Gujarat Titans and played an impressive knock under pressure. The right hander was happy to take his time initially and kept the scoreboard ticking with boundaries at crucial times. He remained unbeaten of 45 off just 43 balls and hit the winning shot with a stunning six.

Gujarat Titans have won their maiden IPL trophy in their very first season while the Rajasthan Royals have finished as runners up of the tournament.
