Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell is off the market after announcing his engagement to long-term girlfriend Vini Raman. The maverick dasher dropped the news on his Instagram account where his girlfriend proudly flaunted the big diamond carat. He used a simple diamond emoji as the caption for the post.

Vini also shared the same photo on her account, writing, “Last week my favourite person asked me to marry him ?? #YES.”

Maxwell has reportedly been dating Indian-origin Vini since 2017. The pair went public for the first time in the same year when Vini shared a photo of him on her Instagram account. Since then, the duo has been quite open about their relationship, often posting adorable and intimate photos of them together on their various social media handles. Vini is a pharmacist by profession who resides in Melbourne.

The news will bring a lot of positive vibes for the ardent fans of the cricketer. Maxwell recently took a break from cricket to deal with mental health issues, which came as a surprise to one and all. Despite this, he was one of the highest earners at the IPL auctions, with KXIP spending the big bucks on him. He justified the spree by some scintillating performances for the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League.

Maxwell was all set to make an international comeback in ongoing limited-overs series against South Africa. But that was unfortunately delayed due to an elbow injury for which he had to undergo surgery. The injury will reportedly keep him out of the opening few games of the IPL.
