Former Indian captain MS Dhoni purchases a new house in Pune

Indian cricketing legend MS Dhoni has purchased a new house in the city of Pune. The house is located in Pimpri-Chinchwad. The iconic cricketer is currently residing at his lavish house in his hometown of Ranchi.

The Chennai Super Kings ‘(CSK) skipper had also bought a house in Mumbai recently as well. Another facet of Dhoni is that he loves animals, and numerous videos of him playing with his dogs have been doing the rounds on social media.

Also, Dhoni’s wife Sakshi had recently posted a video on Instagram where Dhoni can be seen playing with his horse Chetak.

MS Dhoni was last seen in action during the 2021 edition of the IPL

MS Dhoni was last seen on a cricket field during the 2021 edition of the IPL. Even though he did not have a successful run with the willow in the 14th IPL season, Dhoni led the Chennai Super Kings side well, and the ‘Men in Yellow’ were occupying 2nd place in the points table.

The Chennai Super Kings had won 5 out of the 7 matches that they played at the time of suspension of the tournament. Dhoni has accumulated staggering numbers in IPL cricket. He has played 211 IPL matches and has scored 4669 runs at an average of 40.25, and has led the Chennai Super Kings side to 3 IPL titles as well.

Dhoni is also a legend of Indian cricket and has represented the country in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is. While he scored 4876 runs in the whites, he also plundered 10773 runs in ODI cricket at an average of 50.58. In T20I cricket, the Indian cricketing icon has scored 1617 runs at an average of 37.60.

Dhoni also led India to the 2007 T20 World Cup title, the 2011 fifty-over World Cup title as well as the 2013 Champions Trophy title. He played his last international match for India on 10th July 2019. The cricketing colossus retired from the game on 15th August 2020, by announcing his departure from the game with a post on Instagram.
