Feeling good to be back with Indian team: Ravindra Jadeja
Star Indian allrounder, Ravindra Jadeja, is all in readiness to get back in the thick of things for the upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka that is to be followed by the Test matches. The 33-year-old has had to remain on the sidelines in the recent past due to his injury concerns. Jadeja, however, commented that he is now raring to go and don the Indian jersey yet again come the series against Sri Lanka.
Having sustained an injury to his left forearm while playing against New Zealand in Kanpur, Jadeja has had to miss India’s tour to South Africa as well as the recently concluded home T20I series against the West Indies. However, the all-rounder has now recovered and is a part of both the Indian T20I and Test squad to be taking on Sri Lanka.
“Good feeling to be back in the Indian team. I’m really looking forward to playing the T20 series and the Test series. I am feeling so good that finally, after two months, I will be playing for India,” Jadeja said in a video posted on BCCI TV.

Jadeja has been undergoing his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy in a bid to make his playing return at the earliest. The senior pro stated that he has been working hard on his fitness and has also gone through his first practice session since the injury first occurred.
“I was keen to do my rehab properly and was working hard on my fitness at NCA. Today, I came here for my first practice session, it feels good,” Jadeja added.
The series constitutes three T20Is and two Test matches beginning February 24th, with the first T20I in Lucknow. Jadeja, who has been a vital member of the Indian team for a while now, will certainly bolster the squad with his return. Post the conclusion of the series, the Saurashtra cricketer will go into the IPL to ply his trade for the Chennai Super Kings.
