Fastest to 19 ODI centuries
The primary goal for every batter in history has been to convert their start into a three-digit figure. Former India skipper Virat Kohli was a massive sensation when he first stepped foot on the international circuit. He was extremely consistent and courtesy of the same, the 34-year-old managed to hit 19 ODI centuries in just 124 innings. With that, the Delhi-born cricketer is currently the third-fastest cricketer to achieve the feat.
2. Hashim Amla in 104 innings
Former South Africa international Hashim Amla hit 19 centuries in just 104 innings and is currently second on the list. Overall, Amla has represented the national team in 181 ODI matches and has hit 8113 runs in the process. He has hit 27 centuries in the 50-overs format and holds multiple records in this format.
1. Babar Azam in 102 innings
With that century against Nepal, Babar Azam managed to become the fastest cricketer to hit 19 centuries. The Pakistan skipper has been tremendous in both white-ball formats and hence, he is deemed to break more such records in the future. He has 5353 runs in the 50-overs format and will be aiming to improve that in the coming times with the goal to win both Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup.
