England unveil new T20I jersey for 2023-24 season
England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have released their new T20I jersey for the upcoming 2023-24 season. The reigning T20 World Cup champions will be seen wearing it along with the women’s team and the disability teams in the next season.
Notably, the motif is fairly dynamic and features elements that display the historical significance of England Cricket. The jersey has the England Cricket crest with a majestic crown and a lion pattern towards the bottom.
Meanwhile, the men’s team will next take on Ireland in a one-off Test before challenging Australia to regain the urn. Post that, the Jos Buttler-led side will be hosting New Zealand in a four-match T20I series and that’s when the men’s team will be first seen wearing the new kit.
When it comes to women’s cricket, they will next take on Australia in a one-off Test, starting June 22 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Following the same, they will take on the Aussies in a three-match T20I series, starting July 1 in Edgbaston. Notably, that will be the first time when the women’s team will wear the new kit.
