5) Bhuvneshwar Kumar – 6/82

Ishant Sharma holds the record for best bowling figures by an Indian in England in a Test match. This was in the same Test in which Bhuvneshwar Kumar took a 6-fer in the first innings. England were chasing a target of 319 runs in the fourth innings, and at one time, they had scored 173 runs for four wickets. However, Ishant Sharma dismantled the England batting line-up soon. The home side got all-out for 223 runs losing the Test by 95 runs.
