ENG vs IND: BCCI shares fun drill session video involving Indian cricketers
Team India will be starting their second cycle of the World Test Championship with the five-match Test series against England. The teams will battle it out against each other in the first Test match which will commence on August 4. Ahead of the start of the series, India is all geared up to prepare themselves to the best of their potential and bring the ‘A’ game against the hosts.
In a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the players are seen doing a fun practice session. Getting involved in such activities helps the team to be in the right frame of mind ahead of the big challenge that awaits them. It not only makes sure that the players are fit but the little fun element also keeps the mood light which is pivotal before entering into any high profile series.
In this fascinating practice drill, the players were asked to catch the ball with either hand and then throw it back with the opposite one. Teams were divided into two groups and the players seemed to have a great time practicing this activity on the field. The BCCI took it to Twitter to share the video of the same and captioned it as “Sample that for a fun drill session to get the side charged up! #TeamIndia #ENGvIND”

Team India aiming to start the new WTC cycle on a positive note
A few days back, the BCCI had posted a similar video of the players getting involved in a fielding drill session. The teams were divided into team Kohli and team Ashwin under the watchful eyes of the fielding coach R Sridhar. The coach had asserted that he was pretty satisfied with the way the practice session had gone in Durham ahead of the warm-up game.
Post that, the team locked horns against the County Select XI for a three-day practice game. This match would have assisted the team in judging the English conditions well. The Indian pacers had a good time on the field which would have further boosted their confidence. Virat Kohli and company would now be keen to kickstart the Test series by putting everything in the right place after the crucial practice match and training sessions.
