Dinesh Karthik dedicates a heart-winning one-liner for Hardik Pandya
Dinesh Karthik, the veteran Indian cricketer, is currently preparing for the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. With the likes of KL Rahul, Sanju Samson and Rishabh Pant being considered for the wicketkeeper’s slot, Karthik will be eager to put up a spectacular performance. In the meantime, the 35-year-old wicketkeeper-batsman conducted a question-and-answer session on Twitter.
He reckoned that it’s the best way to ‘kill some time in the quarantine period’. To start proceedings, Karthik took to Twitter and wrote, “Best way to kill some time in this quarantine, Q&A with Twitterati! Go! #AskDK,”
Keeping in mind his fandom, Karthik was showered with questions. One of the fans asked him about his opinion on Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The supporter asked and wrote, “One Word about Hardik Pandya? #AskDK @DineshKarthik.”
But instead of giving only a solitary word to describe their friendship, Karthik called Hardik a ‘brother from another mother’.
Here’s Dinesh Karthik’s tweet: –
Why one word, I’ll give you a line
Brother from another mother! ❤️ @hardikpandya7 https://t.co/zw9HKL2aZC

When asked about whether he is enjoying keeping the wickets and who was the toughest bowler to keep wickets to, Karthik gave an elaborate answer. He said he will continue to keep wickets and named Anil Kumble as the toughest bowler to keep wickets against.
I’ve always enjoyed wicket-keeping and will continue to do so!
The toughest bowler to keep is @anilkumble1074 on the last day of a Test. Especially when the ball is turning from the rough to a left hander ?? https://t.co/YoIukCxce5— DK (@DineshKarthik) January 6, 2021
Karthik last played for Team India in the semi-final of the 2019 World Cup against New Zealand at the Old Trafford in Manchester. He has been active in international cricket since 2004. In 26 Tests, 94 ODIs and 32 T20Is, Karthik has scored 1025, 1752 and 399 runs respectively with one century and 16 half-centuries.
