Dhruv Shorey parts ways with Delhi, to represent Vidarbha
Indian batter Dhruv Shorey is set to move from Delhi to Vidarbha for the 2023-24 domestic season. Shorey played 42 games for Delhi in a 52-match first-class career, scoring 3841 runs at an average of 54.87, including 11 centuries.
Furthermore, Shorey’s record in List A cricket speaks volumes as well. In 60 List A matches, Shorey has 1945 runs to his name at an average of 36.01 runs. The 31-year-old has featured in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings in 2018 and 2019 . However, he only featured in two matches.
Just like star batter Nitish Rana, Shorey had recently asked the Delhi and Districts Cricket Association (DDCA) fto issue him a No Objection Certificate (NOC) that would allow him to play elsewhere.
