David Miller reveals his favourite batsman of the current era
If it’s in the arc then, it’s out of the park this famous saying describes South African batter David Miller. Renowned for his big hits, the southpaw is one of the most dangerous batters going around at present in the cricketing world. Often Miller changes the complexion of the game within a few overs and can seriously crank it up in the last few overs in the white-ball formats.
He was last seen in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR). The 31-year-old was the designated finisher for the RR along with Chris Morris. Miller scored 88 runs in four matches out of five with a high score of 62.
Recently he is news not for his cricketing fireworks but for his off-field activity. Miller used the much-needed time-off by having a fun session with fans on Twitter.
David Miller opens up on his favourite batsman
He posed a tweet saying use #AskMiller and I will try to answer as many as I can on Tuesday, June 02. As soon he posted it, fans flooded him with a wide range of topics to such as what other sports he likes playing apart from cricket, who is your favorite RR teammate, and who are his best friends among Indian players.
Among many fans, one came up with the most important one as to who is his current favorite player. Like all the other cricketers, Miller too took the name of Virat Kohli. The Indian skipper’s craze is not just limited to India but outside too, he is one of the most respected and followed players.

Be it Australia, England, or Pakistan Kohli is always spoken highly about and his work ethic and appetite to score big runs in all three formats set him apart from the rest. Recently, Mohammad Yousuf asked a young Pakistani batter to take a leaf out of Kohli’s book and asked him to control his six-hitting instincts a bit by playing in the gaps and hitting down the ground.
Virat Kohli-led India will be in action on June 18 in the ICC World Test Championship final (WTC) against New Zealand and then they take on England in a high-profile five-match Test series.
