Billings, Vince return to England’s ODI squad for Australia series in November

England have named a 15-member squad that will take on Australia in Australia in a three-match ODI series starting after the T20 World Cup in November. The likes of Sam Billings, Olly Stone, and James Vince have been added to the English squad.

The Three Lions have had a perfect start to their T20 World Cup campaign after they defeated Afghanistan in their opening encounter. England also won a recent three-match T20I series against the defending champions Australia before coming to the competition. The English side will look to continue its good form in the tournament.

The first ODI encounter will be played at the Adelaide Oval

The visitors will take on the home team in a three-match ODI series starting on November 17. The first match of the series will be played at the Adelaide Oval, followed by matches at the SCG (Sydney), and MCG (Melbourne).

Meanwhile, England will take on Ireland in their next group-stage encounter. Ahead of their next match, England skipper Jos Buttler said that they are expecting a tough game against Ireland and they are prepared well for the match. The Irish side lost their opening encounter against Sri Lanka and will be keen to make a comeback in the tournament.

“Yeah, we give them great respect. We expect a really tough game. Yeah, we’ll prepare well. We’ll try and turn up on the day and assess conditions, see what’s in front of us, try and use our talent as best we can on the day to put pressure on them, and try and win the game,” Buttler said in a press conference.
