2) 88 runs – India (December 2017)
India’s second-largest win against Sri Lanka in T20Is came in Indore during Sri Lanka’s tour to India in December 2017. Rohit Sharma smashed 118 runs off 43 balls and KL Rahul contributed with 89 runs to help India post a big total of 260/5, India’s biggest score in T20Is. Then star spin duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav took seven wickets combined to bowl out Sri Lanka on 172 runs despite Kusal Perera scoring the highest 77 runs off just 37 balls.
1) 93 runs – India (December 2017)
India’s biggest win against Sri Lanka in T20Is came just two days before scoring their highest total in T20Is. KL Rahul scored 61 runs off 38 balls and MS Dhoni smashed 39* off 22 balls to help India score 180/3 while batting first in Cuttack. Then while defending, star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took four wickets and pace all-rounder Hardik Pandya grabbed three to bowl out Sri Lanka at just 87 runs in 16 overs to record a 93-run win.
