Interested candidates should send their application(s) on or before July 30, 2019, by 5 pm. The key members of the coaching staff – Ravi Shastri, Sanjay Bangar and Bharat Arun have been given an automatic entry into the recruitment process. Their tenure ended after the 2019 World Cup, where India bowed out of the semis, though they have been handed a 45-day extension till the end of India’s tour of the West Indies.

Shastri has been the head coach for Team India since 2017 when he replaced legendary spinner, Anil Kumble. It will now be interesting to see whether the BCCI decided to continue with the philosophy of Shastri and co or move ahead in a new direction.
