BCCI announces squads for remaining two Tests and ODI series vs Australia
The BCCI has announced India’s squads for the remaining two Test matches (third and fourth Tests) and the ODIs of the ongoing series against Australia. Following a domineering win against the Pat Cummins-led Australia in the second Test in Delhi, team India has retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy with a lead of 2-0 in the series.
The BCCI has announced an unchanged squad for the remaining two Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The third Test of the ongoing series will be played at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. The fourth and final Test of the series will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
India have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series. The hosts are just one win away from securing the series victory. The series victory will also cementing a berth in the summit clash of the World Test Championship.
India’s spin attack has done wonders for them in the series thus far as the wickets in Delhi and Nagpur were quite conducive for spinners. Spinners from both sides have asked some tough questions of batters. Hence, the ongoing event has only seen one centurion thus far in the form of India’s captain Rohit Sharma.

The apex cricket board has also confirmed that skipper Rohit Sharma will not feature in the first ODI. Rohit will be unavailable due to ‘family commitments’. Star all-rounder Hardik Pandya will shoulder the responsibility of leading the side for the first 50-over clash.
