Although KL Rahul had not featured in the first two test matches, he would have been a useful option for the Indian team to count upon. The third Test between India and Australia begins on 7th January in Sydney. The four-match series currently stands level at 1-each after Australia won in Adelaide and India celebrated a victory in Melbourne.
