Indian all-rounder Shardul Thakur is the third-most expensive traded player in the history of the IPL. Ahead of the IPL 2023, Thakur was traded from Delhi Capitals to two-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping INR 10.75 Crore. Playing 11 matches in 2023, Thakur scored 113 runs and managed to take seven wickets to his name as well. He has been released by KKR ahead of the 2023 auction following his under-par returns.

2) Hardik Pandya (15 cr)

Star Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya became the second most expensive trade in the history of the IPL. Being the skipper of Gujarat Titans since 2022, Pandya also became the third skipper to be traded to another franchise in the tournament’s history. The 30-year-old was involved in an all-cash deal worth INR 15 crore, as he went back to his former side, the five-time champions Mumbai Indians. As the skipper of Titans, Pandya was sensational, leading the side to back-to-back IPL final, and winning one as well.

1) Cameron Green (17.5 cr)

The most expensive trade in the history of the IPL, Australian all-rounder Cameron Green wrote history as he was recently traded from Mumbai Indians to Royal Challengers Bangalore for INR 17.5 crore, even surpassing Pandya’s trade.
