2. Dennis Lillee
The former Aussie cricketer played 29 matches (57 innings) against the English side and racked up 167 wickets. Dennis Lillee’s outings against England also include 11 five-fors and four 10-wicket hauls, and maintained an average economy of 2.47. With this, he makes it to the second spot in this elite list for racking up the most wickets in Test cricket against a single team.
1. Shane Warne
The spin wizard was known for lethal bowling exploits and wild turn that he got with the ball which eventually earned him a truckload of wickets. Shane Warne enjoyed his time with the ball against numerous teams but it was against England whom he troubled the most. The Aussie great played 36 matches (72 innings) and claimed 195 scalps. In addition to this, Warne also got 11 five-fors and four 10-wicket hauls against the English side.
