Having made his debut against New Zealand in Wellington Test in 1981, Shastri played 230 matches across formats and scored 6938 runs at an average of 32.42, which included 15 tons and 30 half-centuries with the highest score of 206.

India’s run machine Virat Kohli finds himself in the second position on this list. The right-handed batter smacked 15 hundreds in international cricket at the age of 23. His maiden ton (107) came against Sri Lanka in the Kolkata ODI in 2009. The occasion of the 15th century came against New Zealand in the Bengaluru Test in 2012. Kohli made his international debut against the Lankan Lions in an ODI in 2008. The 34-year-old has played 490 matches across formats and amassed 24936 runs at an average of 53.74 with 74 tons and 129 fifties and the highest score of 254*.

Former batter Sachin Tendulkar occupies the top spot in this elite chart. The batting maestro struck 22 hundred before turning 24. He first grabbed the landmark against England in Manchester Test in 1990 when he scored 119*. His 22nd ton came against Zimbabwe in Benoni ODI in 1997 when he hit 104. The Master Blaster made his debut against arch-rivals Pakistan in Karachi Test in 1989. The Mumbai-born batter went on to play 664 games in his decorated and glorious career. He racked up a mammoth 34357 runs at an average of 48.52 with 100 tons and 164 fifties and the best score of 248*. His last appearance came on his home ground against West Indies in Mumbai Test in 2013.
