3. Mohammad Rizwan (4)
Mohammad Rizwan has had two fantastic years in the T20I format and had been scoring runs through phenomenal consistency. 2. Babar Azam (5)
Babar Azam is considered to be among the fab five of modern-day batters and he has managed to score runs consistently against any opposition under any conditions. The Pakistan skipper held the number one position in the T20I rankings for a long time and he has been a vital part of the country’s success in the shorter formats. Azam has played 99 T20Is and has been part of 29 series in which he has bagged the player of the series award on five occasions.
1. Virat Kohli (7)
Virat Kohli holds the record for the most number of player of the series awards in the T20I format. The prolific batter is among the few to average above 50 in the format and he has stepped up for the country, especially in ICC tournaments. Having played 115 games and 44 series, Kohli has bagged the player of the series award seven times. At 34, Kohli remains one of the fittest cricketers and is likely to add a few more in the coming years.
