He achieved the feat against England in the fifth and final Test of the series at The Oval in 2018. Chasing a mammoth target of 464, Pant slammed 114 off 146 which included 15 fours and four sixes. Though India lost the match and the series, Pant made his presence felt by slamming his first ton in the fourth innings of the Test.
2.159* vs Australia (2019)
Pant’s highest Test score of 159* came against Australia in the fourth and final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Sydney in 2018/19. With India leading the series by a margin of 2-1, the visitors batted first and posted a mammoth total of 622/7d. Cheteshwar Pujara scored 193 with Pant playing an incredible innings of 159* off 189 with 15 fours and a six batting at no. seven. The match got drawn as India clinched their first-ever Test series victory down under.

Arguably, one of the finest knocks Rishabh Pant has played in his Test career so far came against Australia in the final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Brisbane in 2020/21.
