Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma buy INR 20 Crore Worth farmhouse in Alibaug
Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma have bought a farmhouse in Alibaug area near Mumbai. The land is estimated to be worth of INR 19.24 Crores and and will cover a spread of 8 Acres near Zirad, a village in Alibaug. The real estate company, Samira Habitats have taken the responsibility of overseeing the transaction.
According to the reports in Malayali Manorama, the couple had already visited the place six months ago and Virat’s brother Vikas Kohli had finished the transaction on August 30. The Alibaug’s excellent surrounding has attracted a lot of business people to buy land at the area. Former Indian head coach Ravi Shastri had built a house in Alibaug about a decade ago.
Apart from the newly owned land, Kohli owns a beautiful apartment worth Rs 34 crore on the 35th floor in the C complex of a luxurious tower in Worli. The celebrity couple is quite popular in the country and has huge number of followers on social media which has helped their business ideas a lot as well.
Virat Kohli to open a new restaurant in Juhu
Recently, Kohli had also leased a portion of Kishore Kumar’s Bungalow in Juhu for the next five years and a restaurant is expected to be opened in the place. The 33-year-old has owned three restaurants already in Delhi, Kolkata and Pune with the name One eight commune and the next one is awaited to be opened in Juhu any time this month.
Clearly, Kohli is into expanding his business as he is approaching towards the latter stages of his cricketing career. The right hander is currently part of the Asia Cup squad in UAE and has already notched up an unbeaten half century against the Hong Kong side in the previous game for India. After a lot of criticism over his indifferent form in the last three years, Kohli has managed to get back his rhythm going ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022 in October.
