He took the IPL to storm in the very first match of the tournament on April 18, 2008 as he went after RCB bowlers from the word ‘go’ The ex-New Zealand skipper scored a thunderous unbeaten 158 runs from just 73 balls that powered KKR to a mammoth 222/3 ,which proved to be way too much for RCB in the end as they were skittled for a paltry 82.
Chris Gayle 175* vs Pune Warriors India, IPL 2013
The top honor belongs to the ‘Universe Boss’ Chris Gayle himself as he tormented a helpless Pune bowling attack at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 23 2013.
