The two teams scored a further 385-7 and 104-2 in their second innings respectively. The match ended in a draw at the end of the fifth day’s play.
Pakistan vs India, Faisalabad 2006: 1702 runs
The 2006 Test between Pakistan and India had a total of 1702 runs being scored. A quick-fire 156 by Shahid Afridi saw Pakistan post 588 all out in the first innings of the game. In reply, Australia was guided by Justin Langer and Simon Katich’s centuries to score 474 all out. India then declared at 211-2 in their second innings asking the opposition to chase 443 for the win. Australia in the final innings of the match managed 357-6 with the game ending in a draw after an incredible 1747 runs being scored over the five days.
