IPL 2022: GT vs DC Review – Gujarat stun Delhi to continue their winning run
Yet another game that went right into the wire in this edition of IPL, but this time the defending side Gujarat Titans managed to prevail with a 14-run victory. Hardik Pandya, despite his inexperience in captaincy, has managed to win two games on the trot and is showing good progress in both batting and bowling departments.
In a run chase of 172, the Delhi Capitals were right on track with Rishabh Pant and Lalit Yadav playing really well for the fourth-wicket partnership. However, once the duo was gone, there wasn’t much that Delhi could do with their lower-middle order as a bundle of wickets fell quickly.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, have ticked most of the boxes with their prized possession of Shubman Gill coming good at the top of the order. Pandya’s bowling was an added luxury as he looked quite fit and raring to go while the pace department from Gujarat looks a formidable one at the moment.
