IPL 2022: 3 Youngest Players of the season

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to begin on 26th March 2022. The tournament will be played by 10 teams this year. In this edition of the IPL, there are several youngsters who will be seen in action. Here are the three youngest players who will take part in the 2022 edition of the IPL.

3.Ashok Sharma (Kolkata Knight Riders)

At the age of 19 years and 275 days, Ashok Sharma is at the third spot on this list. Sharma was picked by the KKR side in the IPL auction for a sum of INR 55 Lakhs. Sharma is yet to play a match in the IPL and will be making his debut this season. He is a right-handed batter and a right-arm pace bowler, and it will be interesting to see how this youngster performs in the 15th edition of the IPL.

2.Dewald Brevis (Mumbai Indians)

Nicknamed as ‘Baby AB’, Dewald Brevis occupies the second spot in the list. Brevis is currently just 18 years and 324 days old. The aggressive South African batter, who can take the game away from the opposition, was bagged by the Mumbai Indians, who shelled out a sum of INR 3 crores for him. He will be making his debut appearance in the IPL this year.

1.Noor Ahmad (Gujarat Titans)

The youngest player who will be featuring in the 2022 edition of the IPL is Noor Ahmad. The Afghanistan bowler is aged just 17 years and 75 days. Ahmad was bought in the 2022 IPL mega auction by the Gujarat Titans at his base price of INR 30 Lakh. The left-arm spinner has the ability to cause some problems to the batters with the variations up his sleeve. He, too, has not played a single match in the Indian T20 League so far.
