To note, Tim David has dual nationality in both Singapore and Australia. However, the 25-year-old currently plays international cricket for Singapore. David is an allrounder who is known for his hitting abilities apart from bowling some off-spin as well.

David was born on March 16, 1996, in Singapore and started playing cricket in his backyard. The 25-year-old then shifted to Australia to improve his cricketing skills. However, in July 2019, the right-handed batter came back to Singapore to play for the national side. He was added to a training squad of the Singapore cricket team in 2018-19 ahead of the Regional Finals for Asia Qualification.
The right-handed batter made his T20I debut in July 2019 playing against Qatar. David was also named in Singapore’s squad for the 2019 Malaysia Cricket World Cup Challenge League A tournament, where he was the leading run-scorer in the competition, with 369 runs in just five matches.
Later that year, David was named in Singapore’s squad for the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier tournament in the UAE. Ahead of the tournament, the International Cricket Council (ICC) named him as the player to watch in Singapore’s squad.
Tim David will be looking forward to making an impact for the five-time champions MI during the IPL 2022.
