Sachin Tendulkar clears the air around false Casino adverts
Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar‘s morphed images had been used to promote a Casino in Goa and the Indian cricket legend has confirmed that he would take legal action for the misusage. Tendulkar is a national icon without any blemish and has cleared the air around false usage.
Tendulkar represented India in 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and 1 T20I scoring more than 34,000 international runs across formats and he is the only man in the world to have scored 100 international centuries so far. I have never endorsed gambling, tobacco or alcohol: Sachin Tendulkar
Tendulkar posted a message for his fans on social media of his legal team looking to take action against the Casino and confirmed that he has nothing to do with gambling, tobacco or alcohol in any way. He revealed the pain behind seeing his images being used in the wrong manner to mislead people.
“It has come to my notice that there are multiple ads being shown on social media platforms, with a morphed photo showing me endorsing a casino. I have never endorsed gambling, tobacco or alcohol – directly or indirectly, in an individual capacity. It pains to see that my images are being used to mislead people,” Tendulkar’s tweet read.
Tendulkar has a huge fan base in India and is portrayed to be among the greatest batters in cricket history. The 48-year-old was the first cricketer to have scored a double century in ODIs.
