The IPL 2022 mega auction is set to take place on February 12 and 13 in Bangalore and with the BBL season concluding just days before it, the IPL team owners would be looking to splash big bucks for some of the best players from BBL 11.

1. Mitchell Marsh
The all-rounder is enjoying a dream run in the T20 format since 2021 as he scored 347 runs in this BBL with an average of 57.83. BBL 11 winning team member, Marsh scored a century and two fifties as he also took five wickets in the tournament. Having previously played for four different IPL teams, he is no stranger to the cash-rich Indian T20 league. The IPL team owners would be looking to get the services of Player of the Match in the T20 WC 2021 final.
2. Jason Sangha
Jason Sangha notched up 445 runs in 12 matches with an average of 49.44 and strike rate of 132.04 in the season. He scored three fifties with the highest score of 91*. The youngster batted at no. three and also cleared the ropes 13 times in the tournament and looks set to attract the team owners of IPL with a breakout BBL season under his belt now.
3. Ben McDermott
The highest run-getter of BBL 11, McDermott took the tournament by storm when he cracked back-to-back centuries. He also holds the record for hitting most BBL hundreds (3). McDermott, who also kept wickets, mustered 577 runs in 13 innings. The IPL teams will like to add him to their ranks as apart from being a wicketkeeper, he also opens the batting. He looks like a complete package and with a mega auction around the corner, he certainly has done enough to earn himself an IPL deal.
4. Andrew Tye
The highest wicket-taker in IPL 2018 with 24 scalps, Andrew Tye is one of the specialists T20 bowlers and he continued his form as he ended up as the joint-second highest wicket-taker in BBL 11 with 25 wickets to his name. Tye, with a bowling average of 16.96 and strike rate of 12.6, helped his team win their fourth title in BBL history. Known for his slower deliveries and bowling at the death, the pacer could be a vital cog in the IPL again.
5. Hayden Kerr
One of the finds of BBL 11, Kerr finished the league as the joint-second-highest wicket-taker with Tye. He took 25 scalps with his left-arm bowling with an average of just 15.00 and an economy rate of 7.50 and also chalked up 152 runs with the highest score of 98*. His all-around abilities will be important for any IPL team as he looks set to get an IPL contract.
