Abu Dhabi T10 League to be played from November 19 to December 4
A brainchild of billionaire businessman Nawab Shaji Ul Mulk, the ten-over annual franchise tournament, Abu Dhabi T10 League, is all set to be hosted for the fifth time in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from November 19 to December 4. The Abu Dhabi T10 League is the only 10-over format cricket to be sanctioned by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and licensed by the Emirates Cricket Board.
Since, its inception in 2017, the T10 tournament has garnered a lot of attention and support from fans all across the globe as it is fast-paced and manages to entertain the viewers with some thrilling encounters. A total of 20 overs are bowled in a single match with each team getting 10 overs to bat with a time duration of 90 minutes. The tournament is played in a round-robin format followed by semi-finals and the final.
The last edition of the elite tournament was hosted from January 28, 2021, to February 6, 2021, at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. The fourth edition was initially planned in November and December 2020 but as the United Arab Emirates hosted the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League from September to November, the authorities decided to postpone the T10 league by two months.
Northern Warriors won the fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi T20 League
The fourth season hosted earlier this year attracted a lot of viewership and thus without much delay, the authorities have announced the dates of the fifth edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 League. As per the tweet made by the official handle of the Abu Dhabi T10 League, the tournament will be hosted from November 19 to December 4, 2021. Though the date of the league has been announced, the schedule and venue of the tournament are yet to be disclosed by the Emirates Cricket Board.

The fourth edition of the Abu Dhabi T20 League saw Northern Warriors scripting a wonderful victory over Delhi Bulls by eight wickets. Throughout, the Northern Warriors skipper Nicholas Pooran led from the front as his exploits with the willow helped the team reach the final. Meanwhile, it was the off-spinner Maheesh Theekshana who scalped three wickets to help Warriors lift the trophy.
