T20 matches dominated the cricket calendar in 2021 and fans don’t have much to complaint about. Some exciting battle was witnessed over the 22 yards as T20 stalwarts from different quarters showcased their prowess. While tournaments like the Indian Premier League, T20 Blast, and Caribbean Premier League entertained fans thoroughly, a lot of T20 International matches were also in the schedule.

Azam’s partner-in-crime Mohammad Rizwan had a year to remember as he finds himself atop this list. The wicketkeeper-batter played one sensational knock after another and became the first-ever batter to score over 1000 T20I runs in a calendar year. Overall, the opener slammed 1326 runs in 29 games.
