Sanju Samson to lead Kerala in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021
Sanju Samson will lead Kerala in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021, with Sachin Baby as his deputy. The tournament gets underway from November 4.
The Kerala Cricket Association (KCA), on October 24, announced the 20-man squad for the tournament, where Kerala is placed alongside Railways, Assam, Gujarat, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh in Elite Group D. Somes of the key names squad includes are those of veteran Robin Uthappa and Jalaj Saxena, alongside youngster Mohammed Azharuddeen, K Asif and Basil Thampi.

Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey to lead Mumbai, Karnataka respectively
The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) announced earlier this month that Indian Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane is set to lead Mumbai in the tournament, while Manish Pandey will be at the helm for Karnataka.
Mumbai squad includes Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sarfaraz Khan, who were all recently playing the Indian Premier League 2021, whereas from Karnataka, all in Manish Pandey, Mayank Agarwal, Devdutt Padikkal and Prasidh Krishna were active during the second of the league in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
