With the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 being in its business end, the remaining matches have significant relevance. The 41st game of the tournament will see Kolkata Knight Riders taking on the Delhi Capitals at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah on Tuesday (September 28). Both teams have had contrasting campaigns in the competition so far and it would be interesting to see how this game unfolds.

Having won eight of their first 10 games, DC have already secured a place in the playoffs and are now aiming to finish among the top two. A win in this fixture would see toppling Chennai Super Kings at the top of the team standings. On the other hand, KKR must unleash their A-game as a single defeat might be enough to see them out of the playoff race.

As of now, they are fourth in the table with four wins in 10 games. Notably, Rishabh Pant’s men walked away with a comprehensive nine-wicket triumph when these two sides met last. Given the current form of both sides, DC are expected to add two more points to their tally. Hence, the two-time champions have a job in hand.

Meanwhile, let’s look at important stats and numbers ahead of the 41st game of the Indian Premier League 2021:
