IPL 2021: Updated Squads & Complete Players List of all teams

IPL

The best part about the second half of the Indian T20 league is the fact that all the teams are more or less evenly poised and it’s going to be as entertaining as it could get. However, owing to the bio-bubble fatigue and busy schedule, several players have backed out. This comes as a huge loss as several key players of various teams have pulled out of the remainder of the tournament. Nevertheless, teams have already announced their respective replacements for the players who won’t be participating in the second phase of IPL 2021.

Among all the franchises, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and the Mumbai Indians won’t be missing any players and thus, will have the same squad they had in the first phase of IPL 2021. Now coming to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), several players from Kohli’s team will be missing out such as Adam Zampa, Kane Richardson, Finn Allen, Daniel Sams, Washington Sundar, and Scott Kuggeleijn. Their replacements are Tim David, Dushmantha Chameera, Wanindu Hasaranga, Akash Deep, George Garton.

Although the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will be missing just one player, that one player happens to be none other than Jonny Bairstow who is one of their key players. Nevertheless, SRH have signed the Windies all-rounder Sherfane Rutherford. Like SRH, even the Delhi Capitals (DC) have just the one player who would be missing the second half of IPL 2021 and that’s Chris Woakes. DC have decided to replace him with the Aussie quick Ben Dwarshuis.

The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have an uphill task at their hands as only a miracle can see them make the top 4. To add to their worries, they will be without the services of their star Pat Cummins and thus they decided to replace him with the Kiwi veteran Tim Southee. Although the Rajasthan Royals (RR) would be without the services of their three frontline overseas stars (Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer) as well as the Aussie pacer Andrew Tye, it would be safe to say that their replacements are equally good. Their replacements are Glenn Phillips, Tabraiz Shamsi, Oshane Thomas and Evin Lewis.

Last but not the least, the Punjab Kings would also be without the services of Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith and Dawid Malan. Their replacements are Nathan Ellis, Adil Rashid and Aiden Markram.
