The IPL 2021 is all set to get underway from September 19 in the UAE and franchises and players are doing their best to have an upper hand in the second leg. In the same light of events, Chennai Super Kings’ ace player Suresh Raina was seen flaunting his class during the net session of the team.

Raina was batting in the nets during CSK’s practice session and hit the ball for a humongous six. As soon as the video went viral on social media, fans started reacting to it. The same video was shared by Raina on his official Instagram handle where the background music was from the movie Rockstar, ‘Phir se udd chala.’

While Raina smashed the ball for a fiery six, Ambati Rayudu and legendary skipper MS Dhoni were seen standing behind him. It has to be noted that CSK was one of the earliest teams that landed in the UAE for their practice camp. Ace skipper Dhoni will be seen leading his yellow army once again. Talking about Raina, he pulled out from last season of IPL quoting personal reasons.

However, he came back in the Indian leg of IPL 2021. Dhoni made it clear during the 2020 season only that it won’t be his last season with the yellow army. Fans got all the more delighted when it was known to them Dhoni would be seen with his team as he has already quit the international form of cricket in 2020. Talking about CSK, they are currently on no. 2 spot in the points table.

They had a terrible season last time and bounced back in style in the 2021 edition. CSK would be eyeing another title in the UAE as they already have three under their belt. The IPL 2021 UAE leg opener will be played between Mumbai and Chennai. Mumbai Indians already have five titles under their belt and are the defending champions of the Indian T20 league.
