MS Dhoni’s new funky look for commercial is trending on social media

Dhoni

Former India cricketer MS Dhoni prefers to stay away from the limelight while he is not performing his heroics on the field. The fans are always desperate to get even a glimpse of their favourite cricketer and without doing much, Dhoni trends on social media always. However, as the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is getting close, the master behind the stumps is back at what he does best.

Moreover, his different look had gone viral on Twitter a few days back and this time his another funky look has taken his fans by surprise. By the looks of it, it seems MS Dhoni has shot for a commercial before the UAE leg of the cash-rich tournament.

Star Sports shared his new funky look while urging the fans to stay tuned. This means the commercial is likely to be released soon and it could well be related to IPL’s return. “#MSDhoni’s up to something new before #VIVOIPL! Stay tuned for the Asli Picture! #AsliPictureAbhiBaakiHai,” the tweet with the picture read.

Here’s the tweet:

Few CSK players already in the UAE

Meanwhile, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have already started preparations for the second leg of the IPL to be played in the UAE from September 19. Most of their players have reached Dubai and are either undergoing or finished with the mandatory quarantine period. Also, the Men in Yellow will resume their IPL 2021 campaign with a blockbuster encounter against the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI).

The first leg ended abruptly only two games after the clash between these two sides only where Kieron Pollard wrecked havoc helping MI chase down a mammoth 219, their biggest chase in the history of IPL. The fans will be expecting a similar game this time around as well. As for CSK, they are at the second position in the table with five wins after playing seven matches with 10 points to their name.

After a disappointing 2020 season, CSK are back to their best and would love to go all the way this time around with uncertainty around their skipper MS Dhoni‘s future in the IPL.
