WATCH: Rishabh Pant tries his best to convince Virat Kohli not to take a review

The Indian cricket team is currently involved in a blockbuster five-match Test series against England on England soil. The first Test between the two sides at Nottingham ended in a draw, and the second Test match is currently underway at Lord’s.

One batsman who holds the key for the England side is Joe Root. And, during the second day’s play, Root was struck on the pads by an excellent delivery from Mohammed Siraj. The Indian players appealed, but the appeal was turned down by the on-field umpire.

And, that was when Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant went to his skipper Virat Kohli and tried his best to dissuade Kohli from taking the review in hilarious fashion. But then, in the very last moment, Kohli took the review with a huge smile on his face. Even Mohammed Siraj was seen laughing. Even after Kohli went upstairs, Pant was still engaged in a conversation with Kohli. However, India lost the review as the replays showed that the ball was missing the stumps.
