All-rounder Shreyas Gopal gets engaged to long-time girlfriend Nikitha Shiv

Indian all-rounder Shreyas Gopal is all set to tie the knot with girlfriend Nikitha. Gopal’s IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals took to Twitter to announce the news and congratulate the couple.

Gopal was last seen in action during the 14th edition of the IPL, which was suspended midway through after a spate of Covid-19 cases emerged inside the bio-secure environment. The BCCI and IPL governing council collectively decided to postpone the league immediately.

Gopal did not have much business until the season suspension as he scored an unbeaten seven against RCB, while he did not bat against the Punjab Kings. With the ball, he returned with 0/35 and 0/40 in the two matches, respectively. Meanwhile, the edition is set to resume in the United Arab Emirates, where the remaining 31 matches will be played across three venues, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai.
