ENG vs PAK: Hasan Ali declared fit to play in deciding T20I
After having missed the first 2 T20Is, Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali is now announced all fit to take the charge of the field in the 3rd T20I. The medical panel has declared him fit for the upcoming game which is to be played at Manchester. England and Pakistan have won one T20I each and this is going to be a decider of the series. Previously, Hasan Ali couldn’t be a part of the two games that Pakistan played owing to the precautionary measures due to the injury.
He had experienced a strain in his left leg which didn’t allow him to participate in the initial games. The speedster had picked up the injury at Nottinghamshire on Thursday ahead of the T20I series during the team’s training session. Ali had a good time in the ODIs against England wherein he scalped six wickets at an average of 25. He registered the figures of 5/51 at Lord’s to exude his sheer flair.
Hasan Ali getting back in the side would be a big positive for Pakistan. England is a strong side and in the home conditions, they have the edge to be dominant over the opposition at any given time. The inclusion of Ali back in the squad provides Pakistan a reliable assurance, owing to the experience he has under his sleeves.
Pakistan eyeing a series win against the hosts
Pakistan did not have a good outing in the ODIs against Pakistan where they were whitewashed by the hosts. Their performances brought them under the scanner as they were up against an alternative England squad. However, after winning the first T20I they secured their first win of the tour and put a step forward in changing their fortunes in the T20I series.
As expected, England bounced back stronger in the series and kept it alive by clinching victory in the second T20I. Pakistan is considered as a comparatively stronger side in the shortest format and they will have to punch above their weights to seal the series from here. Their batting lineup has to get a tad more stability in the middle order for them to triumph over England.
The team relies vastly on their openers that in turn, build pressure on them. The third T20I is going to be an intriguing contest as England too would be determined to continue their domination.
