Steve Smith reacts to the post by his wife
The astonishing blindfold ritual followed by Steve Smith quickly went viral on social media and left the cricket fans in splits. The insane picture posted by his wife also drew a reaction from Smith as he provided an explanation of his act. Tagging the post on his Instagram story, Smith revealed that he was just trying to rate his bats from one to eight on the basis of their pickup.
Further, the 31-year-old mentioned that it was hard to rate the bats as all were equally good. He also tagged the brand New Balance in his post to appreciate them for their work.
“I remember this. I was ordering them 1 to 8 purely on pickup. Tough to do, they were all good,” Smith explained.
Meanwhile, it was an emotional day for Steve Smith on Monday, May 31, as he was able to finally reunite with his wife Dani Willis after a long wait of two months. The batter completed his mandatory 14-day quarantine in Sydney after his arrival from India and is now free to go back to his home.
