Mayank Agarwal gives a glimpse of India’s new training kit ahead of WTC final
The Indian team is gearing up for the upcoming World Test Championship final against New Zealand and the following series comprising five Test matches against England that starts from 4th August at Trent Bridge.
All the UK-bound players of the team have assembled in Mumbai and have been in hard quarantine that started on May 19 in a BCCI-arranged facility. The ones residing in Mumbai – Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, and Ajinkya Rahane – were strictly advised to follow home quarantine before they joined the other members on May 24.
The men’s team will head directly to Southampton on June 2 before they play the inaugural final of the WTC from June 18 onwards at the Ageas Bowl. Before that gets underway, the team will also serve a 10-day quarantine upon landing in Southampton, where they will be allowed to train and practice inside a bio-secure environment.
