Virat Kohli’s photoshopped picture goes viral on social media

India

Apart from being a batting genius, Indian captain, Virat Kohli has also been a style icon of many. Over the years, the talismanic cricketer has adopted many looks which became trending. From having a spiky hairstyle to his classic undercut look, Kohli has never shied away from trying different looks. However, most of the looks have comprised pretty short hairs and a sharp beard. Well, that’s not the case in Kohli’s latest viral picture.

On Monday, an intense bearded look of Kohli went viral on social media. In the snap, Kohli can be seen sporting a yellow t-shirt with long hair and an enormous beard. Now, the Indian skipper hasn’t tried such a look before, and subsequently, the picture became a talking point among netizens. While several compared him to ‘the professor’ from the famous web series Money Heist, many also recalled Shahid Kapoor’s character from the popular Bollywood movie Kabir Singh. However, the picture turned out to be an edited one from one of his fan pages.

Virat Kohli’s intense photoshopped look goes viral

Notably, Kohli didn’t have such a look in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, which was suspended midway on May 4. Hence, many started to wonder how the star batsman managed to grow his hair and beard to such an extent within 20 days. Moreover, the 32-year-old also appeared a few times on social media, and his looks were entirely different from the viral pic. This led to the conclusion that the sensational picture is photoshopped.

Meanwhile, Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma started a fundraiser amid the COVID-19 crisis and helped many people with oxygen concentrators, hospital beds and other necessities. As of now, Kohli is currently spending isolation in a Mumbai hotel alongside his Indian teammates. The Indian squad will fly to England on June 2 for the much-awaited ICC World Test Championship final against New Zealand.

The summit clash gets underway on June 18, and India won’t have much time for preparation as they have to undergo a 14-day quarantine period upon their arrival. On the other hand, New Zealand will cross swords with hosts England in a two-match Test series before meeting India in the WTC finals. Hence, it would be interesting to see how Virat Kohli’s men tackle this challenge.
