3. Shoaib Malik – 368 innings
Shoaib Malik has scored 10488 runs in 389 T20 innings so far. He has accumulated these runs at an average of 37.06 and a strike rate of 125.99. And this is despite the fact that he has hardly played any games in the Indian Premier League barring a few in the first season. He achieved this milestone in 2010 while playing a T20 match against Balochistan. Malik has been regularly featuring in T20 leagues around the world and has been part of the Pakistan T20I team as well for a long time. He has smashed 64 half-centuries in the format till now.
2. David Warner – 303 innings
David Warner completed 10000 runs in the T20 format recently in IPL in the game against Chennai Super Kings. He took 303 innings to achieve the feat, making him second-fastest to reach the landmark. Warner has so far scored 10017 T20 runs at an average of 37.80 and a strike rate of 140.80. The majority of his runs have come while playing in IPL, particularly for the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise. He has smashed 8 centuries and 82 half-centuries in T20 cricket so far.
1. Chris Gayle – 285 innings
Chris Gayle can easily be termed as the greatest ever T20 batsman. He has scored the most runs (13898) in the shortest format. These runs have come at an impressive strike rate of 146.41. Gayle completed his 10000 T20 runs in only 286 innings while playing against Gujarat Lions in IPL 2017. He also has the record of scoring most centuries (22) and most half-centuries (86) in the shortest format.
