Uthappa praises Jadeja’s ‘amazing athleticism’ and ‘pointy beard’ game
Ravindra Jadeja was on a roll in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 till the season got suspended due to the COVID-19 virus. The all-rounder delivered in all three departments and was one of the main reasons behind the Chennai Super Kings’ stellar campaign. While his big-hitting in end overs bolstered CSK’s total, the left-arm spinner bowled economical overs to dent opposition further. Riding on his prowess, the MS Dhoni-led side won five of their first seven games.
While Jadeja’s all-round heroics left the cricket world in awe, it seems like the southpaw has some more skills up his sleeves. Jadeja’s CSK teammate Robin Uthappa took to Instagram and heaped massive praises on the all-rounder. Uthappa called the Saurashtra cricketer a delight to watch and also hailed his improvement in the past few years. Apart from this, the 35-year-old also thanked Jadeja for giving him Instagram tips and even asked how the star all-rounder maintains his beard.

Jadeja was overwhelmed with his teammate’s gesture as he didn’t take long in responding to the post. “Hahahaahah thanks a lot Robbie bhai for kind words. Btw like your hashtags see you soon,” the 32-year-old all-rounder commented.
Notably, Uthappa added many hashtags in his post, including #sirjadeja, #Jaddu, and #beardking. It seems like Jadeja was referring to these hashtags only in his comment.
Meanwhile, Jadeja is now gearing up for the ICC World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand. The Ageas Bowl in Southampton will host the much-awaited clash, which gets underway on June 18. With Jadeja being in red-hot form, the all-rounder is quite sure to find a place in the playing XI, and he’ll be determined to take India to glory.
