IPL 2021: CSK vs SRH, Stats Preview – Upcoming records and approaching milestones

It is a clash of teams with two contrasting starts – Chennai Super Kings who have won 4 and lost 1 so far in IPL 2021, while Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost 4 and won 1. Even CSK has a dominant winning record against SRH and is the team that has beaten Sunrisers most often. It would require a miraculous effort from SRH to defeat CSK in the first encounter at Delhi this season.

So far Faf du Plessis was the star with the bat and Deepak Chahar with the ball for Chennai Super Kings. And Ravindra Jadeja’s one of the best all-time knocks in the T20 format is a big boost to them ahead of the encounter against SRH. For SRH, Jonny Bairstow has been sensational with the bat as was Rashid Khan with the ball. Their middle-order woes have continued this season, and have hurt them more. They lost four matches, and each of them had a close margin, with their last match against DC being by the barest of margins.

Here’s a look at some stats and milestones ahead of the CSK-SRH IPL clash
