Three cricketers who might get married soon

In a person’s life, there comes a time when they want to settle down and have a family of their own. When it comes to the lives of cricketers, their marriages get more coverage because of their celebrity status. It is quite obvious that their marriages garner quite a lot of media attention. Recently, we saw Jasprit Bumrah getting married to sports presenter Sanjana Ganesan. Here are three more cricketers who might get married soon:

3. Shaheen Shah Afridi

The left-arm pacer made his debut just three years ago, but he has become one of the most important cogs in the Pakistan bowling line-up. Recently, former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi announced that Shaheen’s family had approached Shahid’s family to ask the hand of their eldest daughter for marriage. The former captain further informed the fans that they have agreed for the association. It was also informed that the marriage will only happen when Shahid Afridi’s daughter graduates and finishes her studies. Interestingly, both Shahid Afridi and his to be son-in-law had featured in the 2021 edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

Glenn Maxwell is one of the most sought-after players in the white-ball game currently. His stakes as a player have been increasing with every passing year. The hard-hitting all-rounder also shares a special connection with India. Yes, one could predict that it is the IPL, where Maxwell has been plying his trade almost every year. However, not a lot of people know that the Victorian player is engaged to an Indian-origin pharmacist named Vini Raman. The couple has been engaged for months but haven’t tied the knot due to the ongoing pandemic. The two could be getting married soon if everything stays alright.

The young leg-spinner from Rajasthan has had some really good seasons in domestic cricket and the IPL. These performances have allowed him to get more opportunities for the Indian national side. He is the younger cousin of right-arm swing bowler Deepak Chahar. The young bowler is engaged to a girl named Ishani. The couple got engaged in December 2019 after years of being together. They are yet to announce the news of their wedding, but it is expected to be held any time soon. There is a possibility that the couple might have planned their wedding in 2020 but had to push their wedding to a later date due to the pandemic.
